God, gays; hot weather; cartoons

Thoughts collected throughout the day.

How can anyone say God hates gays??? ;_; I don’t think God hates anyone except for the ones who blaspheme against Him. I mean, come on, I don’t hate people who do things I don’t like. I hate people who…well, I don’t really hate anyone. I guess I’d hate someone who blasphemed (umm, sp?) against me. Like a rapist, or robber, or something. ^_^;; In the beginning, anyway.

Then I went to godhatesfags.com (how can anyone use slurs, also? there’s such meanness behind it? *koff* there’s my answer ^_^;;) to find a passage saying God hates gays. There wasn’t one, really. I suppose I didn’t look hard enough, but I didn’t want to. I do believe that gays get to heaven in the end. But I don’t want to go deeply into that…heaven and all that is tricky, indeed.

Earlier today, it was so hot!! Well, maybe around 80 or 85 degrees F. ^_^;; But I was upstairs…wearing leggings…with one window open. And no, our house doesn’t need air conditioning. We just need to know the location of the sun and we open/close windows accordingly. But this room is the hottest during the hottest part of the day, number one because one side gets direct hit from the sun, and number two because only one window can be open because of that, and if I wanted circulation, I’d have to drag the fan up here and find something for it to stand on. Too much work.

I watched Walt Disney’s Snow White. The animation was a bit choppier than I remember, but that may be wear and tear, or something, I don’t know. But the fluidity and beauty was a lot, a lot, better than I remember. ^u^ Of course, Prince Charming was bland as usual, and the seven dwarves were entertaining, and Snow White was her innocent, domestic self. The Queen was all cool, though, with her cape, and dress. *drool* Gimme one of those! Man, even her old lady cape looked cooler than Snow White’s dress. The movie was also very spooky. I mean, the backgrounds, and everything, were very visual, and you felt the heightened tension. Well, I did at least. ^_^;;

Then before and during dinner I watched Disney’s version of Beauty and the Beast. I guess it was okay. Some of it was beautiful, but not so much as Pocahontas. *^_^* My fave Disney movie, sadly. I liked Belle’s dresses okay. *rolleyes* It’s all about the clothes. Her ballgown was a bit…tacky, or frilly, or something. Take that overgrown fringe off, dengit! It’s so weird. Ooh, I liked the way they designed the title.

Then I watched Rugrats, an episode I never saw before, and I saw only the second episode, Miss Manners (which I thought was very much so Rugrats) because I was watching the end of Ghostbusters II, and found out the people who play Ray and Igon were the writers. Wow. ^_^; Then I watched the first ep of the Fairly Oddparents. Kinda boring and stupid, but I sorta like those past/future jokes. Bill Gates named his idea Timmysomething, and Timmy’s name was Internet.

Then today I watched an ep of Digimon I’d taped over when I taped the first new ep of Card Captors. And I’d never seen it before. Stupid me. Well anyway, I saw it, and it was cool. I like Sora more, anyway. ^.^

Then I put in Anastasia, the animated FOX version, and fell in love with it again. I love her dresses. Except for that one where sections were cut away and scraps were sewn in. *shudder* Strange. Hmm, It was like, “Oh, just listen to Dmitri and go see Anya!!!” all over again. Teehee.

Ella Enchanted

I’m reading Ella Enchanted. I wish I had more Gail Carson Levine books. But I don’t see them in bookstores (‘cept hardback Just Ella. is that the one?) and forget to buy them off Amazon when we order from there.

*weep* My book is getting read too much to be so good.

Actually, this is really good. I think it’s the fourth or fifth time I’m reading it, and I still love it. Maybe not as much as the first time, but it’s still luv. :b

strange boy experience

We were walking Molly, around 5:00? There was this boy running down the street, being chased by his two friends. Stuff went on, I didn’t pay attention.

We turned around and walked in the other direction, because Molly wanted to go that way.

The boy called out to us, “Hi.” I looked at him. He was standing behind a car. One of his friends was holding a camcorder, and recording. ¬_¬ grr. I waved my arm, and said hi.

“Hey, where are your shoes?”
“They’re in the house.”
He ran after us. “Why aren’t you wearing your shoes? It’s dangerous.”
“It’s not dangerous.”
“Is it a family tradition?”
I laughed. “Well, not on my dad’s side. … I don’t know!” He stopped walking with us, in the middle of the intersection.
“Like my outfit?” He was wearing some sort of padding under his shirt, or a pillow, and a pirate’s hat.
“Very interesting.”
“What about my hat?”
“It’s cool!”
And he ran off to join his friends.

That was a weird experience. Even weirder was the fact that I talked to them, instead of ignoring them and running off. O.O

“ideal” religion

These are my “ideal” religions. Very interesting. I know I’m a Christian Protestant. I can’t tell if I’m liberal or conservative. I’m kinda liberal on the abortion thing, and kinda liberal on the homosexuality, but then I’m conservative on the woman’s and man’s role, and how a home should be. I’m not labeled.

Then I took a test that “told” me the anime I’d like the most. I’ll enter that some time later.
