I didn’t vote this election. I feel so bad. But I wasn’t at home today, or even the weekend before last, which is when my family went to vote touchscreen. This is the first election where I haven’t voted!! It’s a blot on my good record! (Well okay I missed a local election for my city which I didn’t know about, but I wasn’t there for that election either, and no one outside of the city would really care about the outcome anyway. *grin*)

I didn’t go the absentee ballot route because when I was home the October 13 weekend, my family still hadn’t received our sample ballots, and I had no idea how else to get an absentee ballot any other way. Other than um, going down to some L.A. County office and proving who I am and the whole shebang. Even if I could have found a way to get one, I didn’t really feel like checking the mail every day (we only look in the mailbox once or twice a month; and by “we” I mean my brother or his friend), nor did I feel like having to get to the post office and sending it back through the mail.

So now I guess I don’t have a right to complain about Schwarzeneggar still being the governator. *grin* I don’t know. I guess I’m just ignorant, but I didn’t think he did that bad of a job. Better than Gray Davis anyway. *furtive glance* Plus, I definitely probably maybe wouldn’t have liked Angelides any better than Arnold. Yes, he’s democrat, but he was destroying wetlands! (/End propaganda.) Mum also said something or other about him not thinking about some group or other, maybe involving businesses and taxes or something. Whatever. I voted for Steve Westly anyway. grrrs.

My brother keeps bringing up the fact that when I graduate college I’ll have Arnold’s signature on my diploma. Oh yeah, that’s a great reason to elect him as head of California.

Fruit Stand

I’m inputting old dreams into my dreamlog right now, and I found this one dream where I found some Fruit Stand drinks. Now I really want a Fruit Stand juice. >_> Even though the bottle mouth always bugged me and I was afraid I’d hurt myself on it.

It doesn’t help that I just had a chicken sandwich with salsa in it, all pretty salty.

my hair

Right now I have my hair up in one of those things where the end of the ponytail isn’t pulled all the way through the hairtie. I don’t know what that style is called. Some sort of faux bun? I dunno. My hair isn’t actually long enough to all be pulled into a ponytail. I’ve finally caught on to the use of hair clips to catch those unattractive wisps of hair, though. *snerk*

Lately I’ve been thinking of letting my hair grow out and getting some sort of layered haircut, with sideswept bangs. Oooh, I want bangs! But I’m too lazy to maintain hair longer than shoulder length. Not even shoulder length. For some reason, if my hair is going to stay this length, I’m not brave enough to have any cut other than the one I’m currently sporting. Maybe because that would entail cutting my hair even shorter, and at the moment I don’t want that, I actually want longer hair, I just don’t have the patience to maintain it.

I watched Shimotsuma Monogatari tonight, aka Kamikaze Girls. Wahh, I want Momoko’s hair. ;.;

The main reason I didn’t sign up earlier than this summer was I wasn’t sure if a family member wanted my body for a funeral and a burial plot. >_> But meh. I just signed up for it. Before that, a minor reason I didn’t even put the pink dot on my driver’s license was that I had to fully accept that I’m really gonna die eventually. *laugh*

list of (stressful) wants

Ahh! I haven’t updated here in a while. >.> School is getting to me. Two and a half weeks left of the quarter!

List of stuff I want to do:

  1. register a domain and transfer (or copy some) stuff from Elsewhere to there, so I can add it in my resume
    (I want to show that I know webdesign (somewhat) but I don’t exactly feel like including my personal domains in something I’m giving to potential employers >_>)
  2. ✓ make a [fanlisting for a Japanese movie (link to Rajio no Jikan fl)] I saw recently
  3. ✓ make a new layout for fsnet and also smcasmin
  4. ✓ go home, be done with classes!!
  5. ✓ be done with writing my lab reports
    (I don’t want to write them, I want to be done with writing them. ;b)
  6. ✓ sign a lease for an apartment! o_o I need a place to stay next year where I won’t be imposing on my aunt and uncle!
