subreption

It’s not lying, or telling the truth, but …

Subreption (n.) a calculated misrepresentation through concealment of the facts; an inference drawn from such a misrepresentation.

o.o Wow. I didn’t know there was a term for not telling the whole truth. Hehehe. Kinda scary. And rather … painful sounding. ^_^;;; Subreption? I dunno, doesn’t it sound like some body part is tearing or something?

Hm. A question for anyone at all to answer. :) (I’d like to hear the responses. ^_^)

How many emotions can you name? What’s your favorite emotion?

words of 2002

Ehehe … ^^; “‘dialarhoea,’ … inadvertent dialing of a cell phone in a pocket or handbag.” *cracks up* “Most likely to succeed: Blog, the noun (a personal Web log). Once the province of Webheads, these online journals are going mainstream.” Oh pooh. *considers trashing her blog* … too lazy. :b

Dec 27 friday five

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year?
… I dunno. Straight As last semester? ^^;;;

2. What was your biggest disappointment?
*shrugs*I can’t think of any disappointments.

3. Will you be making any New Year’s resolutions?
Just continuing the one I’ve had forever, trying to go to bed on time. x_x;; I think I started that one some time in August …

4. Where will you be at midnight? Do you wish you could be somewhere else?
Right here. If I’m not upstairs in Mommy and Daddy’s room. The second question made me griiin. :D Yes, I wana be with Matt. *sniffle* (Or maybe not; I don’t like scary weather.)

5. Aside from (possibly) staying up late, do you have any other New Year’s traditions?
Drinking Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider. I wonder if we have a bottle this year. Daddy likes to watch some special. I forget which one.

Friday Five Halloween

Hm. I think I’m getting into the Friday Five? ^_^;; I won’t post my blog url there, though!

1. What is your favorite scary movie?
Uh, it isn’t really all that scary, but I like the b&w version of The Haunting. 1963. I can’t remember right now any others I like.

2. What is your favorite Halloween treat?
Ohh, don’t remind me of chocolate right now, I just finished off my See’s bar. ^_^;;; It changes every year, I think. Because I pig out on my favorite, so then I get sick of it next year. :b

3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume.
Do I? I don’t know. I’m at that stage right now where I’ve pretty much gotten out of going trick-or-treating, but haven’t slipped into the other aspect: handing out candy! Um. Anyway. I’m more likely to sit at the computer instead right now. ^.^; Erm … and my best Halloween costume? I don’t know. As a kid I wore store-bought costumes. Can’t get much out of those. The last costume I wore (didn’t go trick-or-treating, just walked around) was my Japanese ghost one. :D I liked that one … didn’t shave off my eyebrows or paint my teeth black, though. *shrugs* I’m not that much of a nut. ^^;

4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events?
I guess not. *shrugs* Never went to any. Never really plan to, either.

5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year?
Highly unlikely. ‘Cause I’m going to be at Noelle’s, and I don’t want to pack any costume.

Friday Five and Thursday Three

*shrugs* Friday Five and Thursday Three. ooooold

1. If you could only choose 1 cd to ever listen to again, what would it be?
Mm … I don’t know … I suppose right now it’d be The Cardigans’ First Band on the Moon

2. If you could only choose 2 movies to watch ever again, what would they be?
Wait Until Dark, and Three Faces of Eve

3. If you could only choose 3 books to read ever again, what would they be?
O.O Okay, I thought the first two questions were hard? This one is completely inane. o_< I suppose … Lirael, Garth Nix; Keeping the Moon, Sarah Dessen; Dancing on the Edge, Han Nolan

4. If you could only choose 4 things to eat or drink ever again, what would they be?
Udon, ochazuke, shrimp, gyouza :9

5. If you could only choose 5 people to ever be/talk/associate/whatever with ever again, who would they be?
… Do I even want to answer this? Noelle, Mommy, Matt … Adam … .. …. … aaand … ….. Jesus? XP Thursday Three, even though it’s Wednesday and I’m lame and doing the old one almost a week after it’s posted. *shrugs* I’m bored. Even though I should be going to bed just ’cause I need the shleep.

Do you believe the general public spends less time watching television time due to time spent online?
I automatically say yes, but then I remember the people without internet access, and they’re probably watching just as much, if not less because of poor programming. So then I think no, but there are people who surf the ‘net instead of channels now, right? *shrugs* In between. Favoring the yes side. :b

Do you feel that surfing or creating for the Internet has taken from your television viewing time? Is that a good or bad thing?
Yes. It has. I used to watch maybe 15 hours of TV a week. Now it’s more like three. Four if you count the uninterested viewing of the TV that someone else is watching. It’s a good thing, people! I’m doing things with my mind now! *rolleyes*

Have many hours of television do you watch per week? Favorite show?
Hah. Three. XD Answered already. I suppose my favorite show is CSI … no WAIT! I forgot all about Monk! T.T How is that possible? I keep forgetting to watch CSI anyway. Monk is my favorite show right now. ^-^ Oh! But this Friday is the season finale. *weep weep* Such sad news.
