That’s from my control panel. >.< I should remember to check there more often. ^_^;; But anyway, if it’s GMT, wouldn’t it be -8? Or are we on that Daylight Savings thing that I’ve never been able to remember about? *shrugs* Owell. Mystery solved! :D:D

“She did what now?” ← me. :/ From an e-mail I got: “I have visited MEILIN.DIARYLAND.COM and noticed that your website is not listed on some search engines.” Well of course not, it’s private!! >( Gehehe, where there’s supposed to be a screenshot of the page, it says “Authorization Required.” XDD Some people are really tiring.

time, GM stuff

Erm, the time is right now. o_? I have no idea why … it says “greymatter reads your time as 4:30” (something like that) so I put -3, and there were no changes. I put -4 and there were no changes. I put -10, and the time showed up as 10 am. o_o So now it’s at -7, and the time is right.

Does it have something to do with the Endore servers being EST? I know that whenever I upload something, like I edit a page at 12:00 am (yes it’s a totally random time, why would I ever upload something in the middle of the night? :b), upload it, edit it again, and upload it at 12:01 am, the [IE browser] ftp thing shows the file as having been edited a whole three hours ahead, at 3:00 am. o_< I have no idea … *won’t look a gift horse in the mouth*

Oh, and another thing, why do some of my entries show up as being evenly spaced in the table cell, then others have regular spacing, and aren’t lined up nicely on the right? If you have no idea what I’m talking about … neither do I. :| But look at my archives page, at the right margin.

Crazy in Alabama; Kikujiro

Before I got my new glasses, I was watching TV because Hidek was on the compi. I ended up watching Crazy in Alabama and some Japanese movie.

The Japanese movie, of which I missed a fairly huge amount, was about this kid going to find his mother, and the guy who’s taking him. I assume he’s just a total stranger, since the kid, Masao, learns his name at the end. Masao was called kid, boy, brat, throughout the movie, so, pardon me for impolite references. ^,^ He called the dude (forgot his name. Kakijuru, something, I don’t know) Mister. Ojii-san.

What I saw, the kid is about 7–10 years old (not good at guessing age…), polite, quiet, but I don’t know if it was the situation or not. Mister is a big mouth. It’s 50-50 chance of working, too. Worked: angel bell, that bear for 3,000 yen, getting in the hotel. Not: being beat up (or, “falling down stairs”), getting a truck ride, paying the hotel bill.

There’s also this part of the movie where they spend time by some small body of water with “Mr. Nice Guy,” “Fatso,” and “Baldy.” ^u^ It’s a very funny movie. Don’t know what it’s called or anything, since the cable guide isn’t working. Grrrr.

That’s why I watched Crazy in Alabama; the guide wasn’t working and I didn’t know what the movie was. It’s not that I don’t like the movie or am set against it for some reason, but I tried watching it twice before and ended up changing the channel, because it didn’t catch my interest. This time it did. And I saw Lucas Black. *squeals* The normal teen in me is showing again … But for him I don’t mind. :b I wish I could see some of his other movies … but I’m not exactly motivated to go to Blockbuster … *sigh* Owell, he’s still cute. ^u^

;_; I have only one rice candy left. All because of my father taking one from me. He couldn’t take one from one of his sons, noooo, he had to take one from his one and only daughter, who just so happened to be near when he felt like snacking. :b But still … rice candy! *weep weep*

A Ring of Endless Light movie

Oh yes, the dreaded watching of “A Ring of Endless Light.” -_- It was a lot worse than I expected. Okay, I could tell from the commercials it was going to be mainly about the dolphins, and not much else, but still, they added a mermaid!! There wasn’t a mermaid in the book, right? Right??? And one scene, the dream, when she ends up kissing Adam (hah!) underwater, I cracked up! Ahaha, so ridiculous

The big killer was they took out the parents. WTH??? Taking out two of the key characters in Vicki’s life?? How is she to grow? And they made Susie a brain!! Augh! Oh yes, they took out John. That’s another thing! Without John, they made Adam ride up and introduce himself, which ever so totally ruins most of his character and all of his background!

The guy who played Zachary, he could have been good. If he were like 5 years older, and much much paler. :b Everyone else was awful. Including the Grandfather. :/ He didn’t seem as … otherworldly. ^_^;; Don’t know how else to put it. He was a bit more earthy and stable. -_-

Ooh, ooh, they got rid of Leo and the hospital scenes! Uh, I could understand getting rid of Leo, the way they were making it go, he would have turned the movie into a teen “stuck between boyfriends” kind of thing. >_< Soooo … uhh … what’s a really intelligent word for stupid? ^_^;;

And of course they had to get rid of Robin. But the ending of the book made the whole thing! Er, for me, anyway. :D I liked the style of the writing, although I didn’t understand it the first time. *rolleyes* Umm, yeah, I don’t feel like ranting anymore.

lo, Padmé eats!

^_^ yayayay! Padmé can eat again! I gave them celery to eat.

Mama and I took Shadow and Dusty in to get their shots. :b We spent a loooong time catching them. When we got there, a dog that chipped his tooth was there. So beautiful! A chocolate brown. ^_^ Then later a cat that got bit by an oppossum came. O_o I think I gave Shadow Petromalt two nights ago … he hasn’t barfed yet.
