Girl Girl died, but guinea pigs and cats galore

Oyeah. Girl Girl died. O.o I fed her, I forget when, then later Mickey was giving them pellets, and told me she wouldn’t get up. I told him to go ask Mama (I was holding Shadow) and we figured yep, she’s dead. Mama said she died only 5 or ten minutes earlier. Oyeah. It was sometime during Friends. Like 11:20 or so.

She beat Pinky! ^_^;; What? I don’t hold a grudge against Pinky for breaking Buba’s record, what are you talking about? Buba was 6 years 1 month; Pinky 6 years 3 months; Girl Girl 6 years 4/5 months (4 counting from when we bought her, 5 or so figuring in her actually birth date and all). Maybe I fed them around 10:30. Yeah, I gave them cucumber and Pigtre and Girl Girl didn’t finish them. ¬_¬ Pigs. Mama says it was probably a heart attack.

Earlier this week, not sure which day, Mama and I went for a walk, and we took Padmé with us. ^_^ I couldn’t stop giggling. But I think she liked it. I thought I heard her cluck a couple times.

She still rolls over onto her back. I put her back with Pigtre, just because, and they seem to be getting along all right.

Two nights ago, I think, Shadow slept in the bread basket thing. ^_^;; I took a picture of it, but the light’s all funky. I should upload it. Oh, the basket is much smaller than Shadow. You could barely see it under all of him. :b

book shopping

Yaaaaay! I finally got to go to Barnes & Noble!! yayay! And um, if anyone was paying attention, no Mommy did not take me when she said she would, ’cause I didn’t have any money and she didn’t feel like lending me any. ’Tis okay, this way I got the books I’ve been waiting for for suuuch a long time: What Janie Found by Caroline B. Cooney, Dreamland by Sarah Dessen, and Lirael by Garth Nix. bweeeee! such fun, such fun!

They didn’t have For All Time though. :( I’ll just have to buy it off Amazon. :b Daddy told me Amazon lowered their minimum free shipping order to $49.99. From there I want Episode Zero, Chobits, X/1999, and Star Wars Ep II visual dictionary. Oh, and For All Time, of course. ^_^

discussion of Janie books/movie, Anne

Hey, look, the 200th entry. :b *is still miffed, but has something entirely different from the other entry*

I forget what I wanted to say. O.o Something about the Janie books. Augh! I completely forgot! Something about the first two. The third can kick the bucket. ^_^;; I’m kidding, kinda … I mean … (spoilers) It was nice when Janie made family (heh, like make friends, get it?) with Jodie and Brian (Brendan is stupid), then later her New Jersey Mom and Dad and even Stephen (Brendan is still stupid).

But somehow the books aren’t like the other two. I don’t want to say things that sound like a critic … but still, I suppose the first was about Janie finding out (almost) everything about her past, the second about her finding out about her New Jersey family, and the third about her finding out about herself, and about her and Reeve, and about Reeve. But somehow the third isn’t as internal as the others are. I suppose I mean personal, but I like the feeling of internal better. ^_^

Recently I saw the entire movie, and of course thought about how much it stunk, but then I reread the books, and figured those two books aren’t very easy things to turn into a movie, which is all visual and almost nothing mental. Hmm, radio has an advantage against TV and movies, no stupid corny older-self-talking-about-younger-self voiceovers. Firstly, the actor playing Janie didn’t have wild, curly, red-gold hair, which was about half of Janie. ^_~ And Reeve stunk. He’s like … a wimp. ^,^ I don’t know. He isn’t, really. He’s just much less lackluster without the Janie confessing to Reeve scenes.

This kinda reminds me of the Anne books and movies. >.< *can’t believe the stupidity of the movies* I’ve forgotten the differences between the first movie and book, and haven’t seen the second movie, but I know that in the third movie Anne goes to the battlefield in WWI, I forget why, but the whole movie was completely made up out of stupid air.

World War I happened in the eighth book. How does one go from shooting a third movie in a series, and skipping five whole books??? Neither Anne nor Gilbert saw bloody war. Although it lived in their house through newspaper and other reports. *still can’t believe who died in the eighth book, although she expected someone to die*

Another thing, the Face on the Milk Carton movie changed Jodie into a younger sibling. Much younger. Like middle school younger. That’s not allowed! Jodie’s supposed to be the one expecting an automatic sister and best friend, not someone who couldn’t even remotely hurt Janie by pairing up with Stephen instead. Okay, that is extremely not understandable. O.o *shrugs*

Stephen also isn’t supposed to be so good-looking. :b He’s supposed to be someone lanky with big feet which everyone hopes he’ll grow into some day. Also, I somehow felt that the mothers would have been better switched, although I think maybe I’ve been reading the words wrong. But isn’t Mrs. Spring supposed to be more homey, and motherly, housewife, and kind of dowdy? Mrs. Johnson is supposed to be motherly, but with a flair, spends more time on her clothes, has a more HGTV house.

*is now finished*

Never ending story

Never ending story! Hmm, I wonder if I could achieve that. People can read faster than I can write (not counting the thought process, mind you!) so I’d have to write half of it before I release it. Yes, I know it’s supposed to be a never-ending story, that’s the point of writing half of it. Hmm, I think I just confused myself.

piggie Pet Psychic

On the Pet Psychic, Sonya Fitzpatrick talked to a guinea pig named Pookie!! (Not exactly sure of the spelling, but eh.) *dances around the room* It was a sheltie, too! And albino. The piggie had a clip in her hair. ^_^ And she said she liked it. kawaiiii!

She also talked about how she wishes she could sleep with her owner for the whole night (the lady told her it wasn’t very safe, with the rolling and all); the other guinea pig (Bobby, who didn’t come) who would have liked going there (the owner said he’s too frisky); and the room the owner made all for the pigs. A blue room.

O_O See??? We’re not weird! She made a whole room for only two pigs, and we adjusted a room for eight pigs! Then seven, then six, then five, then four … then the room was given to C. :( Wasn’t that sooo coool! Waiii! piggy piggy piggy piggy piggy! I wanna take all three of my piggies there. :b
