choosing college; lj lost dream

Yesterday, Mommy gave me the Cal Poly catalog that Auntie J got for me. And on Saturday Uncle G asked me, “So you’re thinking of going to Cal Poly?” (Me: “… I don’t know.”) T-T

And and … under the list of academic programs, there’s “Graphic Communications, BS” as opposed to “Graphic Design, a specialization under [Art].” ;_; But I’m a baby, I can’t live away from home. ^^;;; Even though I’d be living with Auntie J and Uncle G. It’s still 5 hours from home (by train). Ugh. x_x

I suppose I want to be a part of both CSUCI and Cal Poly equally. (CSUCI = former state hospital XP). But I don’t want to major in Graphic Design. But I don’t want to live so far from home either. :( And I’m running out of time to decide … >>—x_x->

Also, yesterday, I woke up at 9:30, then after breakfast took a nap until 1:30 or so. XP And I had a cool dream. I was typing it up in my lj (spent almost an hour typing it up), and when I tried to add the entry, I got this Read-only Mode page. ARRRRGH!!! >.< LJ lost my whooole entry!!! *stabstab* And now I don’t feel like retyping it. ¬.¬ Stupid LJ. Maybe I’ll retype it here. :) Later, though.

And the Cal Poly catalog is still staring me in the face. ;_;

vroomy vroom vroom

Mickey told me today (well, he probably mentioned it before, but I didn’t bother to remember ^^;;) that my car has a good acceleration rate (or something), and I said, “Woohoo!” then thought, ‘Vroom vrooom!’ XDDD But then he rubbed in that “his car” (he wants an Impala) gets better gas mileage. ¬.¬ Yeah, yeah. (I don’t know, speed or economy? Exhiliration or money? Hmmm …)

there’s no looking back

Gahh. Getting bored with this layout. O.o Especially the Evanescent font. *points to title* Can’t look at it anymore!

Yeah, well anyway … for an hour and a half after we got back from class, I read and finished Smoke and Mirrors. XD About 150 pages in 90 minutes. w00t.

It got weirder the farther I got in. o_O From “What’s the collective noun for people who work in banks?” to “Babycakes” *shudders* to “Snow, Glass, Apples.” (From the intro, in regards to the last story:) “I’d like to think of this story as a virus. Once you’ve read it, you may never be able to read the original in the same way again.” He’s right about that. o.X And, *giggles* he was embarrassed whenever he worked on “Tastings.” *laughs* I love it.

tried being honest

Put up a link to my quiz livejournal. ^^;; *points to sidebar*

Earlier tonight I went with Auntie and Noelle and SM00 to the mall that’s over the mountains. I got a manga by Erica Sakurazawa called Angel. I like the art. ^_^’ It’s not really manga-ish … but it’s not really cartoon-y or highly stylized. It’s just … so nice. I likie Angel. *kiss* *wings pop out* ^_^ I have to scan that some time.

finished Count of Monte Cristo

I finished Count of Monte Cristo. ^-^ Soo good. XD Yay! Now I get to watch the movie again! >.> If I ever do get around to watching anything.

Hey! I just realized something. I’m gonna miss Dead Like Me again this week! *cries* Last week George got a friend … and I missed it. And I don’t even know what’s gonna happen this week. O_o That’s sad.

“A weakened mind always sees everything through a black veil. The soul makes its own horizons; your soul is dark, which is why you see such a cloudy sky.”

“There is neither happiness nor unhappiness in this world; there is only the comparison of one state with another. Only a man who has felt ultimate despair is capable of feeling ultimate bliss.”

Both from Count of Monte Cristo. Of course. :b I dunno. I just thought they were interesting.
