I’m trying to make this layout for jeidaijournal. And I don’t know what to do with the pictures. :( I don’t want to do a techno-ish, pixelly layout. I don’t want to do that simplified layout I’ve been doing lately (eg jeidaijournal, AALCC fanlisting, my links page …). I don’t really want to do grunge. Firstly because I’m not that good at it. ^^;; Secondly because I’m tiring of it.

I just want to do these fantabulously amazing layouts. Like Sephiroticum.net (which isn’t up anymore). I just want to fill the whole page, I want everything to be going on, but instead of looking like a mess, it looks effin’ fantastic. I want the final product to look completely different from the original image(s) I used. Kinda like … (you’d have to visit my layout archives site to understand this ^^;;) IAT v33, or SMC v5, or L.S v3. But more.

I know, I usually say, “Open something up and just mess around.” Which is what the owner of Sephiroticum.net said. :b But whenever I do that I just use filters and stuff and usually it ends up looking like a jumbled, disgusting mess, and it’s not even really my mess, it’s someone else’s formula to change the image around that way.

You know my V-Day layout? (Which was supposed to link to vday.org, but I got lazy and forgot.) This person [butterfly-edge.org] did something similar. But her layout looks a lot better than mine. :P More organized and preeettier.

So anyway … I forgot what else I wanted to say … I made a new Amy Lee icon for lj. What else is new? Well, I’m actually really very satisfied with this one. But I don’t think it counts because it’s black and white with touches of pink and it’s pretty easy to be satisfied with those colors. I think I should be happier about another one, which is pretty much all brown, and I don’t really use brown. But I like the other one more. *shrugs*

I also found out that they aren’t making any more “My Immortal Pt.2 (enhanced)” singles, and that’s why Amazon isn’t shipping our order until “Feb 17–Mar 9.” And the order was placed January 19. O_o

I tried looking on ebay for it, and there’s one, but there are seven bids on it already, and I feel guilty outbidding someone, and it’s already up to $15.something already anyway, so I don’t want to try for it. Then I was looking at this [old ebay auction] and this [another ebay auction], but then I remembered that I don’t have any money. ^^;; And I reeeeally want that poster. :( Oh well.

Wooo! I r back, baybee! XD And someone over at Endore sucks ’cause they went out of business in the worst way possible. -.-

But anyway. I dunno how much I’ll be using this. ^^;;; And I’m too lazy at the moment to make a new layout. Or fix the tagboard page. Which I’ll be linking at the bottom of the page soon. And uhh … I’m also too lazy to do something else … but I can’t seem to remember what. o_O Well, whatever needs to be changed/fixed/uploaded, I’m too lazy to do it. :P

Let’s see, what I did today … I drove Hidek to Toys R Us, then we went to Rite Aid ’cause I wanted an ice cream bar but they took out that aisle and it confused me, and I bought a York Peppermint Patty which I haven’t eaten yet and a puffscrubball for baths, whatever those things are called, and Tadash came over, and [boring school stuff].

I spent the rest of the day (and some of last night) uploading my fanlistings and the other stuff I hadn’t uploaded. I also figured out how to get the formmail script to work. It’s a lot easier when Notepad isn’t being cruel and inserting those rectangle shapes instead of line breaks. Believe me, it’s really really really frightening.

Gehehe, Wulfie just crawled out from under Hidek’s covers. XD (And yeah, I’m in Hidek’s room, ’cause I was using the wav editor on the compi. And am now using the much-nicer-than-mine speakers to listen to Evanescence. :b) Now I think Dusty is under the bed; Wulfie seems awfully interested in the area between the wall and the bed.

But anyway. Because I think it’s weird and cool and I worked on it quite a bit, listen to this [mp3 removed] and agree with me that lots of artists lately are biting off a very cool Japanese artist. :b And I’ll leave that up for only a day or two because mp3s on my space make me nervous. >_> But it’s not even one whole minute of any song, just 10-30 seconds of four songs with veeeery similar beginnings. Although, having listened to it over and over tonight, I’ll agree that they do “differ” a bit and no one’s biting off Lily Chou-Chou. Just great minds thinking alike, or some such thing …

Lily Chou-Chou, Dumbo, and a llama

So I was looking at the Lily Chou-Chou fansite ’cause I couldn’t remember why I didn’t download the movie clips and now I feel like watching the movie again. ^^;;;

I also want to see Dumbo again. ^^;; What? Last year I read that it’s supposed to be a “perfect imitation of a Disney film” because Walt had nothing to do with it and yet they were able to rehash everything he’s ever done in a movie. :b And someone else said the pink elephants scene was utterly pointless dribble, but I never thought so. It scared me as a kid, but I also thought it was really entertaining. ^^

I also have to see the Emperor’s New Groove. Is that what it’s called? I was reading this Disney book in the college library on Disney storyboards, and they were talking about this movie called “Kingdom of the Sun” about an emperor who was turned into a llama. Yeah. I also want that book. Preeeetty paintings! ;.; Mum has this book on Pinocchio and the art in it. There’s an amazing painting of that bar of soap. :P

Okay now would be a good time to die because I could never own a home in LA (where I WANT to live) and have a good job with benefits and blahblahblah and I’m just gonna die from starvation ’cause my social security check will buy me jack sh—. That’s called thinking of my future. ;b

Aaanyway … it was windy today. Is windy today. Fun. Especially carrying my art portfolio around … and I hope I never have to take another artsy class ever again.

But anyway … shall stop rambling pointlessly and start rambling pointfully … semi-pointfully … whatever. EVERWOOD IS ON TONIGHT! Wait, nevermind, it’s a sex episode … boring. Not like the other episodes weren’t boring either, but nyeh. Although I liked the Nina storyline … which is odd ’cause that’s the first time I’ve ever remembered her name … *blink*

Okay! Points(full): I got hosting for inangeling-dot-net. I don’t have money for hosting for fs.net. Actually, I didn’t have money for inangeling-dot-net either … but nevermind that fact. ^^;; So since I kinda give up my blog at the moment I’ma gonna point fs.net to a subdomain on inangeling-dot-net. That means no hostees on fs.net. Sorry. I also just realized I only get one ftp account. ^^;;; WHOOPS!

I’m also debating whether I should put hotlink protection on inangeling-dot-net again. I moved my Sailor Mars gallery back to Geocities. Yeah, I was overjoyed this weekend when I realized I hadn’t deleted the 100+ images when I moved. XP;; But I still have all my fanlistings on inangeling-dot-net. And, well, I’ve never had a run-in with people taking stuff from me, but … I dunno, whatever.

Something else that made me overjoyed this weekend: I remembered my homestead account. :b Because I feel guilty hotlinking from my Comcast homepage (although I’m still doing it >b). Oh yeah. I have to put my moodtheme somewhere. @_@ Homestead has that f’kin annoying upload thing. Comcast, aforementioned guilt. Inangeling-dot-net, that hotlinking thing.

Descanso Gardens

Hahaha okay it’s Tuesday and this entry is about Saturday. Oh well. I got rid of my blog for the time being because I got tired of it, so now I have … livejournal, greatestjournal, allaboutmylife, and this [Diaryland] to use. ^_^ (Wroundhouse as well, if I want, but I don’t think I want. >.>) So I think I’ll use this more.

Saturday the matrilineal ladies went for a day out. ^___^ First we went to some restaurant, I don’t know the name. I had “The Weekend Wrap.” It was goood. But I think I’ll go back to the quesadilla [sp?] they have there. ^^;; Nothing beats avocado, man. XP

Then we went to Descanso Gardens and went through the rose gardens and through the red wood area then … yeah I won’t give a tour thing. O_o But this time we went to the Boddy House and looked at paintings (which I thought were okay, although I liked the b&w&blue snow painting) and this one room which gave the history of Boddy (gah, forgot his first name) and the beginnings of Descanso gardens. The c_(flower which I forgot the name of which we have on the side-camellia?) plants came from a man name F. M. Uyematsu. XD He sold them when he had to go to camp. Sad. But he had a good stock. :)

The refreshments ladies in the Japanese garden weren’t there (closed December and January; “Oh, we’re one day too early.”) so we went to the front/side and got soft drinks/Snapples/water there. SM00 and Noelle got brownies. :9

Then there was a camellia (???) show in that hall so we looked at that then we looked through the gift store then we went back to Auntie G’s house and had lemon thingie (my brain died), sushi, and ocha/coffee. I also had a piece of fudge. XD Fuuuudge! Then everyone went home. Oh yeah. Aunties found food in Jichan’s freezer that was dated some time in 1990. XO Yegh. The latest was last year. Forgot which month. :b

I got my wallscroll though! Yay! I put it up in place of my Ed wallscroll. Then put my Ed scroll on the door and moved the Sakura Shinguuji scroll behind the door. I need to get better string to hang up my Lain scroll. :( Looks very very very bad.
