My Favorite Game music video

O_O I finally saw the “My Favorite Game” music video. The original, uncut one.

Really. O.O It was freaky. Well not as freaky as it was made out to be. I was rather disappointed. So was Adam. ^_^;; Adam’s the one who got it for me. Waiii!! *squish* He ish sho cooliz.

I told him MTV refused to air it before we saw it. Afterwards he said it was sad, how they wouldn’t show that, yet they show a lot of sexual stuff. Aii … Y-Y What is wrong with the world today?

But otherwise, the video is rather cool. I still like their Carnival video more though. I saw that one on Yahoo Launch thingie. ^-^ I love the feel of that one. Anyway. The end of this video was o.o;;; But not so much as I expected … *sniffle* So disappointing …

downloading music

Hm. [dead link I guess about Janis Ian’s opinion on downloading music, positive I think.] Janis Ian. Cool. ^-^ Heh, now I don’t feel so guilty. :b *thinks* I’ve downloaded Jimmy Eat World’s The Middle, Cosmic Dare (Pretty with a Pistol) from Cowboy Bebop (movie), all those Gundam Wing songs, opening theme from Fushigi Yuugi, Fugu’s The Best of Us (came with my laptop), The Cardigans’ Lovefool, Len’s If You Steal My Sunshine, umumum … can’t remember any others. I’ve bought the CDs to The Cardigans and the GW soundtracks. And I plan to buy Fugu’s CD, and kinda plan to buy CB soundtracks and Jimmy Eat World’s CD (Bleed American?). *shrugs* Ah well.

Friday Five and Thursday Three

*shrugs* Friday Five and Thursday Three. ooooold

1. If you could only choose 1 cd to ever listen to again, what would it be?
Mm … I don’t know … I suppose right now it’d be The Cardigans’ First Band on the Moon

2. If you could only choose 2 movies to watch ever again, what would they be?
Wait Until Dark, and Three Faces of Eve

3. If you could only choose 3 books to read ever again, what would they be?
O.O Okay, I thought the first two questions were hard? This one is completely inane. o_< I suppose … Lirael, Garth Nix; Keeping the Moon, Sarah Dessen; Dancing on the Edge, Han Nolan

4. If you could only choose 4 things to eat or drink ever again, what would they be?
Udon, ochazuke, shrimp, gyouza :9

5. If you could only choose 5 people to ever be/talk/associate/whatever with ever again, who would they be?
… Do I even want to answer this? Noelle, Mommy, Matt … Adam … .. …. … aaand … ….. Jesus? XP Thursday Three, even though it’s Wednesday and I’m lame and doing the old one almost a week after it’s posted. *shrugs* I’m bored. Even though I should be going to bed just ’cause I need the shleep.

Do you believe the general public spends less time watching television time due to time spent online?
I automatically say yes, but then I remember the people without internet access, and they’re probably watching just as much, if not less because of poor programming. So then I think no, but there are people who surf the ‘net instead of channels now, right? *shrugs* In between. Favoring the yes side. :b

Do you feel that surfing or creating for the Internet has taken from your television viewing time? Is that a good or bad thing?
Yes. It has. I used to watch maybe 15 hours of TV a week. Now it’s more like three. Four if you count the uninterested viewing of the TV that someone else is watching. It’s a good thing, people! I’m doing things with my mind now! *rolleyes*

Have many hours of television do you watch per week? Favorite show?
Hah. Three. XD Answered already. I suppose my favorite show is CSI … no WAIT! I forgot all about Monk! T.T How is that possible? I keep forgetting to watch CSI anyway. Monk is my favorite show right now. ^-^ Oh! But this Friday is the season finale. *weep weep* Such sad news.

“music washes away the dust of life”

Bored! Heehee. Okay, this is a lot of ramblings about music. Mainly CDs and mp3s.

So I’m bored. Until maybe about 4 today. Which is the time (I’m hoping) I’ll get ftp access to my site. If I don’t, I don’t know what I’ll do.

“You don’t want the sun to shine in, so you turn the curtains down.” The Cardigans.

I thought I’d look at other domains/collectives, just to look at nice layouts, but I’m still bored with that. O.o It’s very odd. And I don’t really feel like posting at AN today. Maybe I will, it’s not like I resolved not to, it’s just that I haven’t actually set aside time to do so. Anyway, then I figured I’d play Starcraft until I get tired of that, then play … I don’t know, Fringer? and try to beat the top record? I tried that yesterday and got listed as second. The top record is really high. O.O And I thought I was doing really well! Owell.

Yeah, I guess I’m doing all that. But then, see, I want to listen to The Cardigans, specifically the CD Life. But if I’m going to play Starcraft, I can’t, unless I use that less-than-standard, jukebox-styled excuse for a CD player. The only way I could listen to it is if I downloaded WinAmp (won’t happen before Daddy reformats the compi, ’cause it’d mean more for him to move if I did), made mp3s of all fourteen songs (I can only make them on the other compi), then moved them to this compi (can’t, no network, and I don’t think Geocities takes mp3s, and if they did, I wouldn’t risk my account for it). buuu … see my predicament?

Also, I want to listen to Lovefool. On this CD. But it’s on First Band on the Moon. :( I don’t know why, ’cause that song doesn’t seem to fit with the other songs very well. ^.^ But umm anyway moving on … to I don’t know what.

Ooh. I have almost 40 CDs. And only one 20-slotted CD rack. Another rack would cost no more than $20, but that’s not my problem. My problem is my dresser has only so much space! I could switch the places of my stereo and CDs, then the CD racks could be turned 90° and sit side by side, but then my stereo will be in the very corner of my room again, and I don’t think it sounds as good there.

Hmm, maybe if I get the second bookshelf (oh! I got sooo close at Staples! but it had only two shelves and it was half a foot short) I could put the stereo on there and whatever I was going to put on the bookshelf can go on my dresser. :/ But when am I going to get a bookshelf??? Where are bookshelves sold anyway? Anyone know of any 3′×3′×1′ (approximately) bookshelves with three shelves for under $75?
