Harold and Maude

All plans to get to bed at a reasonable time have shattered … stupid computer. It’s a black hole for time, or something.

Anyway. Today I saw Garden State for the second time because my friend hadn’t seen it. XD He liked it. Yay!

Also today, Mum had me watch Harold and Maude. Woah. So many similarities. It’s weird. Not the story, really (guy learning how to live, love … basic plot). But like … funeral, check, drugs, check (very minor in HaM though :P), cop scene, check, parents not really thinking of the kid, check … lots of weird stuff.

Anyway. So I went to the haroldandmaude LJ community.

“… apparently the writer and director [of Garden State] is obsessed with harold and maude and made all of the actors in the movie watch it and analyze it before they started filming. and it is suppose to be similar to harold and maude in certain ways.”

Haha. Love it.

Zach Braff is directing/directed Scrubs episode 408. Mwa. I had a sudden light of inspiration and checked his blog and found that out then went to Yahoo to check and the episode won’t be playing at least for another ten days. I don’t really know if I’d notice anything though, I don’t usually watch Scrubs ’cause it’s on at a time that I’d like to be asleep. ^_^;;

I went to bed around midnight a week ago and this past week has been the easiest week for me to fall asleep. But I haven’t talked to Adam for over a week either. :( There’s gotta be a balance somewhere. Go on aim tomorrow, I order thee (talking to myself).

I’m saving Garden State and Harold & Maude LJ icons. :b I need more icon space. Blah blah blah …

Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lost in Translation, and Harry Potter. This person rocks. If she’d only do Spiderman 2 and that would be all the movies I’ve seen in the past year. I also think I should see Trainspotting. And Amelie.

… Mum said she’d help me wash my car. Yay! I don’t like washing my car. I mean … not that often. *hasn’t washed her car for a couple months now* I didn’t get my wheel rims completely clean last weekend. ;_; Two hours soaking my hands in Dawn … dry peeling skin during the week … my nails dried out and, er, required serious trimming (the tips tore off >.>) … and there’s still @$#! on the rims! There was also bird poop on my car. ;_; My car, my car … *cries*

12:14 goodnight wonder what kind of dreams I’ll have having seen GS and HaM. Wonder if I’ll be able to remember them.

ramblings

I’m sitting here slowly getting more and more tense because my hair is wet and I haven’t brushed my hair yet and I know it’s going to be all puffy fluffy if I don’t … but I don’t want to go downstairs to use my brush.

Anyway. FMC is having a 13 Nights of Fright leading up to Halloween, which Neil Gaiman is hosting. ;.; We don’t get FMC. Nor do I really want it … but Neil Gaiman! *sniffles*

IE doesn’t like Y! Launch. It keeps freezing whenever I try to refresh the top 100 list. I keep trying to refresh it because it’s showing me an old cached version. Why is it cached? I have no clue. I cleared everything out and set the options as low as they’ll go but it still does that.

Interrupted because Hidek went back on his comp. 11:08 now. It took my laptop about 50 minutes to connect. Even though at the time I didn’t see any connection. Also, it took my laptop maybe 45 minutes to actually startup. My laptop doesn’t like starting up anymore. It takes about … 1–5 minutes for it to respond to a command. Then another 5 minutes maybe to go on standby. Then ten seconds to go off standby and play nicely. Daddy says I have too much going on at startup but I checked and there’s nothing new since the last time I turned stuff off. :b Ah well.

Hey, I remember. At 9:30 I took my laptop and tried to connect it through the cable but it wouldn’t take and I was getting really annoyed because my laptop used to be able to connect that way but it doesn’t now. Oh yeah. I turned it on around 8:10 and gave it to Daddy to look at at 9:00 but he didn’t because he was paying bills so at 9:30 I took it back. And my “wireless network connection status” says I’ve been connected since before 9.

Sugar dootdootdootdootdoot honey honey you are my girl dootdootdootdootdoot

Homer no!

Seagulls always stay near land. They only go out to sea to die.

I’ll be in charge of ration. See, the secret, boy, is to take tiny little bites like so.

Why couldn’t I be on one of the smart rafts? I bet they’re having the time of their lives.

Who in the world planned that father-son raft trip, anyway?

Tadash fell out of his raft. He said they were level 2 rapids. O.o

My brain is going baibai.

A real swiss army knife, cool! I stole it from that somethingsomething guy.

Classic Simpsony goodness. Yeah.

11:43 I guess I forgot about this again. :b So long.

Callum Blue

I figured out why Mia’s fiance in Princess Diaries 2 looked familiar. I also found out why the guys on Loveline said some guy on Dead Like Me was in PD2. XP Waiii! He looks so good—and different o.o—when he cleans himself up! Haha! one and two. How odd to see a guy who plays the slacker druggie change roles and play the “boring” fiance.

Meh. Past nine. Don’t really feel like going to bed. It just means waking up afterwards and going to classes. I think I did poorly on the math test. Or, I mean, I think I got a low B on it. Maybe a C. x_x Note to self: study, even if you think you know it. Oh yeah, I need another scantron … chemistry is fatal.

for 27 years I’ve been trying

Okay, so what did I do this week? Since I made layouts and stuff last week to fill my time … this week I wasn’t on Portibale much. ^^; Well, okay, I read The Moon is a Harsh Mistress quite a bit. I was halfway through on Monday, and now I’m about 100 pages from the end (it’s 382 pages long, 8″×5″ approx., and reads like this: Mum took her in arms, kissed cheek, said, “So glad you could come!” pretty much o_o). I also saw a few new music videos (Dashboard Confessional! XD) and got strangely attached to Degrassi: Next Generation. *shudders* Lauren Collins is in it. I liked her better in In a Heartbeat. :b Hey, what happened to Christopher Ralph, anyway? (I forgot about him, ever since Everwood started. o_O)

Anyway. Tonight I finally got this Invision Board installed. (For some reason last Sunday I downloaded version 1.12 instead of 1.2. o.O) It looks ooglay. And boring. But oh well. It’s there. I’ll fix it later. I also have no idea what to call it. ^_^;;;; Um. It’s at [inangeling-dot-net (linked to xox-dot-inangeling-dot-net)]. (I would have put it on the domain that’s “easier to spell” :b~ but fs.net doesn’t have MySql. Yet, anyway, I’m still debating that.) Umm, I made it ’cause I want a board to post at and SSH is … not there. ;-; So, there ya go.

And this past week … I’ve had lots of Dashboard Confessional songs running through my head. Fun! My own personal stereo XDDD I haven’t even been listening to it all that much. o_o Maybe just a couple times … really weird. Or maybe … really nifty. XD

Oh yeah, yesterday and Monday and maybe another day too I worked on junk pages for Elsewhere (and I haven’t thought one bit about the split), and … I thought I worked on another site. Oh yeah … Lyrically Longing. Must upload those pages now. ^_^;

Cardigans! XD “I never felt by heart that I could behave the way the roles were made.” Okay I’m done.

everything I say is a lie

Hm. (I have to stop starting entries with that …) I just remembered this Word document I have, where I put all the lyrics I have songs to, or lyrics that I like, and last time I checked it was 325 pages … yeah, and I think by now my collection has about doubled, but I haven’t been adding lyrics to the document, they’ve just been going straight on my lyrics site. ^^;; I like the Word document because, if I were to ever want a lyric with a specific word in it … I’d just have to use Ctrl+F. :) Nifty, yo. But … meh. Lazy. I still have to update my lyrics site. o_O I’m trying to add credits to the lyrics, and I got up to The Cardigans and got scared. (I have six pages of lyrics for them. *nodnod*) So … yeah.

Watched Count of Monte Cristo. :D But the book is better many times over, definitely. (In the audio commentary: “If we followed the book perfectly, the film would be 35 or 40 hours long.” XD) Mommy and I watched Count of Monte Cristo from 7 to 10:30, then watched the extra stuff, then watched Dead Like Me (blue books … scary o_O), then I watched random tv (Simpsons – Bart: “Are you gonna eat that whole thing?” Homer: “Pinchy would have wanted it that way. *sob*”).

Then I remembered I left my laptop on. … Yeah. O.o;;; Getting off now, though …
