help-full?

I want to buy something from each of those sites, The Hunger Site, the Rainforest Site, the Breast Cancer Site, the Child Health Site, and the Animal Rescue Site. But I don’t have that much money. Actually, it doesn’t really matter how much cash I have, ’cause it’d all be coming out of my bank account (except if I spend too much from there I have to put money back in), but then I’d have to use Daddy’s credit card, and there’re too many charges on that card right now, so I can’t really use it for too much.

I was wondering, also, if a form letter sent to support some cause works at all. I mean … yeah, it helps in that it lets whomever I’m sending it to aware that I support this cause, but then … I don’t know, maybe it helps a little less because, after they get so many, they know it’s just a form letter, and people didn’t care enough to write their own letter? I dunno, I just had that weird thought. ^^;

Planet-Save.com was linking to this thing where you fill out your name and address and they send a letter to … whomever (senate person or congress person, I think), about … I forget what it was. Oh, allowed annual mercury levels from factories, or something. I really wanted to do it, ’cause they said in the privacy statement they would use my information only in the letter, and save it for later purposes, but they wouldn’t give the info out or anything. And it’s better than the online petitions that say they’d give out info to … partner sites, or something. Daddy won’t let me sign those. :(

it’s kind of funny…

…this feeling inside. (I think if I’m gonna run my entry subjects into the entry itself then I should show the subject on the main page, shouldn’t I. ^^;; *doesn’t like showing that side of her weirdness so visibly*)

Hm. Stryker said “kind of Coldplay” about Snow Patrol. I never thought of that. But then again, I’ve only ever heard two of their songs. ^^; Run, which just played on the radio now (w00t, love new music, as long as it’s not Beastie Boys or … that other rap/rock group), and Spitting Games, of which the music video is on Launch.

I want Snow Patrol’s album, too. :b I want lots of music … and earlier this year, around January February, I was thinking that there was so little music that I wanted, and that it was sad, but I guess I’d just have to make do with the music I had … or go buy 60s music in CD form. (Mum has lots of 60s music, but it’s in vinyl form.)

*blink* Okay. The entry subject, right. This entry was gonna be about how while LJ was slow and all that last week, fs.net was always up whenever I wanted to access it. :b How weird. Today LJ was all nice (or, so far it has been), and today the first time I tried to go to fs.net I got a Cannot Find Server message. Ah well. I don’t know which one I’d rather have. I think LJ, but I’m kind of used to LJ being down. I don’t know why. I’ve never really had my website unaccessible for so long like this. Except when Endore went out of business. But whatever. I have a headache now. The kind that starts from my eyes. So now I’m done.

second Ontario Mills trip

I don’t know if I wrote about the first trip somewhere anywhere (I doubt it; I don’t even remember when it was), but here’s a summary of my second one. ^^;

Mickey had to practice driving to school, or so Daddy decided, and somehow it turned into a big trip to the Ontario Mills Outlet Mall. I was happy. Haha. Um. Didn’t want to go (and be a bother and slow down the strolling with my visiting of shops) if Hidek wasn’t going (because if Hidek didn’t go it would have been a smaller trip, nothing big, blah blah blah). But Hidek went. Yay. :) Brought my CD player with The Strokes’ Room on Fire and Dashboard Confessional’s A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar (I hope I got that right), Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (rereading the series during the summer), and my purse with $30 in it. XD

Short summary of the whole mall part: used the restroom twice (felt queasy, had drunk water before leaving, along with my hot cocoa and orange juice at breakfy, then had soda at the mall [with Burger King fries :)] to ease my headache-y-ness), looked through a couple shoe stores, the bargain bookstore (saw a cuuute picture book of this girl and her guinea pig that she let go because she didn’t want a “pet for babies” and missed it and he came home and it was cuuuute), stared in Charlotte Russe and Hot Topic from the food court, decided not to go in Forever 21 because it was all bright neon-y (not really) colored and too spring-like for me, went in Anchor Blue got two jeans in a $19.99 sale w00t, saw this anime cart started looking through the wallscrolls nothing, staring at the Inuyasha t-shirt but nonono I don’t wear print t-shirts, especially of such a popular male character (but now I’m wishing I had it >b maybe I could have modified it somehow), looked through Sam Ash (?) music store looked through JCPenney’s saw a nice tank but wasn’t in my size looked for a plain white button-up blouse couldn’t find one left.

Muah. That was it. Oh yeah. I saw New Found Glory’s Catalyst (for $15) and Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Fever to Tell (for $13). Am now wishing I had bought the YYYs album. :( But hey, I guess I should say I have some money to deposit in the bank.

We had KFC for dinner. I suggested El Pollo Loco but I guess someone else wanted KFC instead. Oh well. We got a Dale Jr. bucket! XDD I think Mickey wants it. >_> I hope it isn’t too greasy or anything to keep nicely.

I think that’s a nice wrap of my day.

Oh yeah. I saw this headwrap/”scarf” thing at Anchor Blue. It was $6.50, pinkish and yellow/beige, and I was thinking I could use it to tie through my belt loops instead of a heavy belt. Nice touch of pink in my outfit. But I didn’t know at the time that Mum was at the counter how much it cost. Also, it didn’t look like it’d look, er, fluffy enough tied in the belt loops. I’m guessing that’s true. Oh well. Shall have to keep looking diligently for scarves. :)

Also saw lots of knit um, things you pull over your head and it just sits on your shoulders. Kind of like a poncho, but much more stylish. Yeah. See. I was thinking of knitting one of those things for myself. I didn’t even know they were in style again (looking through old Teen mags, they claimed knit things were the fad, although I don’t recall anyone wearing them).

I looked at how this one knit thing was made, and I totally don’t know how that was done. o.o It looked like knit togethers were used and there were huge holes and then everything spread out again (don’t know how, maybe make one or something?) but yeah there were huge holes and I just have no idea how that was done. ^^;; I also don’t know where to get such fine/thin wool. :( I guess I’ll just have to buy it. Or look for an online wool store or something. ^^;

new project/site

Just because I like creating new projects online and never really getting anywhere with them:

LJ graphics shtuff, a page for all my (old) graphics I made for Livejournal

Only the index page works. I haven’t made the layouts page or credit page. I really don’t care all that much about credit. :b But I needed a third link for the lj layout, so yeah. It’s very very … incomplete. Haha.

See, I was bored a day or two ago because ev_icons and (especially) ev_layouts were running kind of slow, so I started making this header because I’d just saved a bunch of new Amy Lee images. I finished it tonight, but I’m not really one to post in communities, and I’d been thinking about making something for all the old stuff I make. I didn’t want a photobucket gallery ’cause I knew people could hotlink it and my allotted bandwidth would run out. :b So geocities came to mind and yeah. There ya go.

oh the irony

How funny. My internet speed seems adequate at the moment. fs.net is even *gaspshock* up. Yet Livejournal, which had been working very well for me since … I forget … maybe early/middle May? is now not working very well. Pooh. And at a time when practically all I do online is connected to lj. Haha.

Oh well. Earlier getting off earlier to bed maybe earlier getting up. Or maybe I’ll stay up late reading. >D Hehehe …

Today I reached a landmark. I now have over 500 Amy Lee images on my computer. :O Mwahaha XD It’s all only 102 megs, though. *wants to burn stuff on CDs* Although my whole My Documents folder is 1.9 gigs. ^^;; My music folder is 3.2 gigs. But most of it is stuff I or my brothers already own. I think. So yeah.

I have $5. Go me. I just bought SM00’s birthday present, paid membership at lj. ^^ So I technically don’t have $5. Hidek owes me $7 and I need to put money in my bank account. Waldenbooks is also having this buy three (selected) books get the fourth one free. I wanna check that out. Despite my lack of funds. I also need need a CD rack because all my CDs are just sitting in stacks on the floor. The one I’m looking at is $25. Then there’s posters from Anime Castle. And lastly music, because my last new CD was Muse’s Absolution. I want Yeah Yeah Yeahs, New Found Glory, Maroon 5, or Sugarcult. ^^
