ecks Elsewhere

AHHHHH!!! Elsewhere’s coding for each and every page is so totally messed up! (Validation-wise.)

I’ve finally decided to try to validate the (x?)html for Elsewhere. ^^;;; But … there are so many pages! *cries* And for the moment I don’t feel like changing from html to php pages. I guess I like being able to view the pages through my computer, and not just online.

(Don’t look at Elsewhere though, I’m still trying to update all the pages to the new layout. And … whatever else I’m going to end up doing to it.)

(note to self: main graphite section complete)

i don’t think woah

Yeah! iat r back, w00t w00t! ^_^;; My domain registration expired on the 2nd and I couldn’t renew until the 6th. >_>

And all the stuff that I updated/changed on my pages over the weekend … uhh, I can’t remember whatall I worked on, so it’s not being uploaded. ^^;; So there really was no point of me updating, was there? Oh well. Mainly I just made a fanlisting collective and added more photos to Elsewhere. The reason why I made a fl collective is so I can just change ONE page when I have to say something about all my fanlistings. >_>

AND I got two books on Friday on Mary Leakey, for my anthropology report. Yay! One of the books is over 600 pages long. *dies* I haven’t started reading them yet. :b Of course.

Last night I started playing Ocarina of Time on the GCN. ‘Cause I haven’t, yet. ^^;; No, I guess I’m not much of a gamer anymore … not that I ever really was either … *shakes her fist at her brothers who hogged the consoles all the time* I dunno how many games I’ve played, but the ONLY one I’ve ever finished is Kirby’s Dreamland. ^^; Yeah, when I beat it (a long long time ago … in a land far …), I was sooo happy! XP But I can’t beat the second game. >_> Stupid crystals won’t show up so I can find them.

Aaaaanyway. Yeah. Last night I played OoT. And I got stuck in the Deku Tree. >.>;;; I got the slingshot. Now I dunno what to do. ^^;;;;; I read the player’s guide, that thing sucks. I read a walkthrough, and that thing sucks. (Go left. Go right. Go up. Go down. >.<) I feel really stupid. ^^;;;;

Oh! I had a dream that I went with my brothers to a mall, and we went to this store that had DVDs and CDs and video games, and they were having a sale on their games, and they had Link to the Past for GBA and the Zelda bonus disc, which they had a high price on. And I magically had lots of money, but only enough for one game. ;.; So I walked up to the cashier with both games and my money, and he asked which one I wanted, and I said I didn’t know, so he rang me up, then asked which one I wanted, and I said I still wasn’t sure, so he opened up both games and popped them in and started playing to show me how each was. Then I woke up and I didn’t have EITHER game! *cries*

Speaking of a guy cashier at a video game store, I wonder how Kayura is, and her video game store guy … >.> I think I lost her e-mail. >_< Dang, I lose more friends that way. And she doesn’t get on aim anymore. *sigh*

Oh well. We can meet up again in Heaven. :) And now off I go to pull weeds with Mum in the front yard. XP

I’ll fight that

I watched Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door Thursday, with Noelle. ^__^ (And since then I’ve had two separate mentions of Halloween. O.o One from SM00, I forget what for, and one from my mom today, talking about doughnuts she bought with orange and black sprinkles. “What am I supposed to do, keep it for a month and a half? They wouldn’t be doughnuts anymore!”)

Wheee! More Spike and Faye-Faye and Ed XD goodness! Plus hearing the soundtrack that I’ve been listening to for about a year now without having ever seen the movie. ^_^;;; That was cool. “Ooh! This song! *hums along*” ^-^

We made a stop at Mitsuwa on the way home. Mommy and I shared a “pork-flavored ramen” from Tampopo. XD And it was better than the other, a bit … still really salty. Not that that’s bad, I’m just thinking about my system digesting it. ^_^;; I also got her to buy nori in the market. (wheee, nori!! :D)

Then we looked at that “book” (manga) store. There was this huuge thing with GLAY on it. $50. Hm. o_o (They’re like full of pictures, or something, I don’t know.) The Ayumi Hamasaki one from some 2001 tour is still there, $15. And I knew no one else there. (There was a book on the top shelf that was labeled Brad Pitt. :b) Couldn’t find Gokinjo Monogatari or Paradise Kiss or any other manga I knew and was interested in (Inu-Yasha :b). The Ring 2 video is still there. *shiver* Must watch some time. ^^

Looked through Trendy (really, it’s the store’s name). Not much. Inu-Yasha DVDs, three, for $60. All-region coding, too. And subtitles. But … I didn’t want to spend that much money at the moment. And there was this Totoro doll, too. One of the smaller ones. It was so round and cuute! ^__^ Me want. But didn’t buy. (*can imagine SM00 hiding him as well* D<)

Then after dinner Mommy, Hidek, and I went to Westside Pavilion. I wanted The Sandman: Season of Mists and maybe some shirts, and Hidek wanted an Element hat. What we got: Element hat (black and red, oooh), Element t-shirt, and Vans t-shirt, and two pairs of shorts (Dutch girl style, as Mommy said ^_^;) and a Nirvana book for Hidek; larger purse (ish cool ^_^) to fit my sunglasses, The F***-Up, For All Time, Sorceress, Born Blue, and lastly, The Sandman: Season of Mists, all for me. No manga this time. *gasp* (And the string of “teen” books, I’ve wanted them all for a long while. For All Time since 9th grade or whenever. o_o)

I don’t know how much I spent … hopefully no more than $50. ^^;;; Oh yeah! Westside Pavilion has a skate shop. I never knew. They also have a PacSun that’s more LA-style (read: more coool :b) than the one in Thousand Oaks (i.e. upper middle-class x_x). I was actually beginning to think that it might not be so bad after all. :b~ Ooh ooh, and and, there’s an anime cart right outside the PacSun! *dances* Although it’s not as fully stocked as the one by Noelle (two shelves of manga and one shelf of DVDs *sniff*), it has a website! :D I still have to check that out. ^^;; Will do tomorrow.

Parting words … new layout (BoA ^^) at [STF (link to layout archive)]. I still have to make a new layout for IAT. And make the wallpaper site. (Or maybe not.) And divide Elsewhere into writing and images (I’m gonna rename EW “Ever Elsewhere.” ^^)

I just want you to know

Spread of ‘Sobig.F’ Internet Virus Declared Fastest Ever

Ahh, so that’s what that is. >_< And the trojan thing kinda scares me. I know almost nothing about them, so that’s why. But it’s too late to go find info about them.

** Thirty-three percent of those polled thought teacher salaries were “just about right.” (from Yahoo)

They thought WHAT?! >.< Dang cheapskate taxpayers. Stupid tax system that gives little money to education.

Hm, I think I’m gonna ask Mommy why my high school US Gov’t book said that a public school system is bad. I forget why.

Also, made this graphic. Heh. It’s nothing bleeping amazing. :b And I’ve still gotta work on the glowy effect around her hands. But I like it. When I’m done, I’m putting it in [EW (link to art site)]. Finally! Something actually new to add! ^-^;;

I’m also think of splitting the visual and written parts of that site apart, then adding a link from the writing site to l.s. Why? I dunno. The idea was planted by this clique that I was interested in. It said I had to have a link to a place where my writing is. And I didn’t know if EW would qualify, being that half (or over half) of that site is my art. ^^;; But I don’t know. I might just take the lazy way out and not do it. XP

But if I do do it, there was something someone (maybe Dream) said in The Sandman that caught my eye. I might keep EW (change the name a bit) and keep it as some passageway to either site. Then I’d call my art Black Light and written stuff Blood Letters. O.o I just realized both of them are BL. ^_^;;;;;; And the problem with using those names is that I was gonna use Black Light for my wallpaper site (if I ever actually put it up o_O *doesn’t enjoy the thought of putting up her wallpapers*), and I’d have to come up with another name if I do the split. Oh well, something to think about tomorrow during classes. :P

so step up

I’m actually working on my sites. *shock gasp awe* I was reading through quotes to add to [BB (link to quotes site)]. I have a whole page, but I’m too lazy to actually sort them all where I want them to go, so they’re just sitting there.

Now I’m working on redoing the organization of [EW (link to art site)]. I already made Portibale freeze because I had over 40 images open in PSP. ^.^;; Okay, half of them were 60×60, but I guess it doesn’t matter much where my laptop is concerned. ¬_¬ But anyway. Right now I’m not sure how I want it all to look, and so I have no idea where to start, and I’m kind of going back and forth between looking at all my images and looking at the html pages. ^.^; *so lost*

I also like this Chevelle song right now, Forfeit. “Make my mind up, to go though this, or be firm and sit in silence. ‘Cause I want to fight, I want to fight, I want to prove I’m right. I want to fight, I want to fight, So turn and forfeit.” ^_^

I think that singer is the only one who can sing the same line over and over and I’d love it. Christina Aguilera really really annoys me when she does it (one of her early teenpop songs). And that song … I guess it’s by Less Than Jake? “She’s Gonna Break Soon.” I’ve never heard the whole song, or seen the whole music video, but I think I’ve seen the commercial for the album about five times. @_@

Anyway. The song with Alexis Bledel in the music video. Hidek said he doesn’t like the song because it’s too repetitive. Yeah, I say so too. Except I can kind of ignore it if I put my mind to it.
