all the songs we used to know
Uh. New layout! ^_^ I guess it’s okay. Not exactly what I feel I’m capable of doing, but meh for a simplish layout I guess I’m satisfied. I don’t know who the lady is. I just found the picture looking through galleries of female celebrities. ^^;; It fit the song I wanted to use, so I grabbed it. And look, red text! XP~ *luvvers her red* Uhh. Can’t think of what else to write about it. o_o
Okay, here’re the things that are worrying me, in short list form: me and Matt and shtuff, college, driving test, English paper, Art History quiz, finals, next semester’s classes, music ear-training exam
Oh! Earlier, in the van on the way home I finished Ender’s Shadow. w00t! XD Now I just have to wait until Christmas to read all the other books. :( But anyway that’s beside the point. For some reason I almost started to cry when I finished. ^.^; I have absolutely no idea why! Ahhh, such a good booki, I luvver that booki. Muah! But I still don’t know why it’d make me tear up. ^_^; I thought maybe I’d cry this time, but then I figured having a crying teen in the car would be kind of irrrr for Auntie and Uncle. ^^;;; And Mommy and Daddy when I got home. And Mickey and Hidek and Tadash and SM00 and Noelle and everyone else in my family, because it’d eventually get around. Blah. Anyway. Yeah. So I swallowed a lot. :b
time, GM stuff
Erm, the time is right now. o_? I have no idea why … it says “greymatter reads your time as 4:30” (something like that) so I put -3, and there were no changes. I put -4 and there were no changes. I put -10, and the time showed up as 10 am. o_o So now it’s at -7, and the time is right.
Does it have something to do with the Endore servers being EST? I know that whenever I upload something, like I edit a page at 12:00 am (yes it’s a totally random time, why would I ever upload something in the middle of the night? :b), upload it, edit it again, and upload it at 12:01 am, the [IE browser] ftp thing shows the file as having been edited a whole three hours ahead, at 3:00 am. o_< I have no idea … *won’t look a gift horse in the mouth*
Oh, and another thing, why do some of my entries show up as being evenly spaced in the table cell, then others have regular spacing, and aren’t lined up nicely on the right? If you have no idea what I’m talking about … neither do I. :| But look at my archives page, at the right margin.
Greymatter rebuild
>_< Oh my good goshness … remind me to never use the back button while using Greymatter. I went back to some page and ended up rebuilding everything. I thought, ‘Wait, don’t do that!’ and went back a few more pages … which pretty much means I interrupted gm while rebuilding … *koff* Am I being paranoid again? Is there nothing to worry about? I dunno.
But I finished editing all the templates! All the ones I cared about, anyway. ^_^
O_O I just realized I left my laptop on. It’s been on since … umm … 10:00?!?! >_< I’m ruining it, mah goodness! ¬_¬
Greymatter blog
*exasperated sigh* Okay, I’m working on a blog … *collective gasp from everyone* I know … it was my only alternative since: I don’t like Pitas; I already have two Diaryland accounts; I can’t get a LiveJournal, and I don’t think I want one of those ugly things anyway; same goes for DeadJournal, although last time I tried the page couldn’t be found ?_? Owell. So, all this means I’m trying to fix up GreyMatter in another directory. I didn’t want to brave the perils of Moveable Type just yet. ^.^
I make the directory, allow cgi access and stuff, upload the files (and I know I uploaded them in the right mode, degnebbit! >.<), try out gm.cgi … and get a blank blue page. ?_? What?! Even the 502 Error (page title on top of the window) page won’t show up?!?! What in the world is going on here …
Even though Endore.com uses Windows servers *gags* and the support site says I don’t need to “CHMOD” (still don’t know what that is …) any files, I did the other time … through agonizing, umm, minutes ^.^; and then everything worked. So, I think I shall try it all again.
But last time when I downloaded CuteFTP it said I had a trial run which would run for ## days (I knew already, though) so after I finished CHMODing, I uninstalled the program. *shrugs* I have WS_FTP already, so I didn’t need another FTP program. But … WS_FTP won’t CHMOD the files correctly. O.< I wonder what’ll happen when I download CuteFTP again. ^.^;;; *doesn’t want to think of the minutely possible consequences* I’m paranoid, and a little off my rocker, okay?

I downloaded CuteFTP, and it said my trial run started 7-22. :b But I can get in now. *shrugs* All I did was change the gm.cgi. *wonders what’ll happen since the other files aren’t changed*
