Roast of teh Weenies

I kind of want to go to KROQ’s Weenie Roast. >_> They’ve got The Strokes, Bad Religion, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Velvet Revolver, Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Modest Mouse, and The Killers. ^_^ Yeah. But I’m not really the concerty type of person. :b If that wasn’t obvious. I dunno.

Launch isn’t working for me at the moment. :( Maybe ’cause I’m uploading my GM archives. ^^; Very slowly. ‘Cause the connection keeps timing out after a while. Ah well. I’m up to entry 125 of 236. Yup.

Guess what I downloaded! Amy Lee’s appearances on Cartoon Network! XP She said she had a bit of stage fright ’cause it’s hard being cute. Ahaha. And she had pigtails. Why is it she has fuller hair than I do, but her pigtails look less bushy than mine? Maybe ’cause she doesn’t brush them all out nicely like mine … >.> Dunno. But still. Eeee! I like non-goth Amy! XP She’s so cool.

Ooh. Last night I watched The Five Senses on IFC. It was weird. And I’m thinking it got only two stars because it was a rather slow movie. *nodnod* But I still liked it. Nice movie to stay up late watching on a random weekday. :P And the name of the little girl that got lost was Amy Lee! XD Her full name was Amy Lee Miller. I wanna name a girl Amy Lee … I’ve been thinking lately, ‘I’d like to name a kid such and such.’ Hehe. I was thinking of Nina as a name, too. What’s next, Natalie? :b~

I want to go on a poster shopping spree on the Anime Castle website. But I keep thinking about the Chobits poster they never sent ’cause it was backordered more than a month before Christmas. >_> And it cost over $11 too! It was a clear poster … and I don’t see it in their store now … I don’t even really remember what it looked like … meh. Just wasn’t meant to be. But still. $11! Mum gave me back my money, ’cause she was too lazy to ask them for the poster or a refund. She said it’s only money. But I’m not thinking of the money. I’m thinking, I paid, expecting something! And I want something! I don’t want a refund! Er. Maybe I do. Oh well.

I want to buy … an Angel Sanctuary poster … an Inu Yasha poster … and one or two Totoro posters … I guess it isn’t really a spree. Eheh. Oh well. I took down my $25 Queen Amidala poster and my Sakura Wars oav poster. I got tired of them. I moved my Snoopy poster in their place, and moved the other posters around … but now I have lots of pink wall above my desk. o.o So I want more posters. >b Well actually, I also want to replace my two Pokemon posters and my Gundam Wing poster above my bed. Actually, one Pokemon poster is there so my head won’t dirty the wall. ^^;; It’s got a tear in one side of it … :x

Mum said she’d try to cut my hair like Yukari’s! Yay. But then she threw in, “You’ll have all summer to grow it out,” so I’m afraid. Haha.

I rented The Last Emperor to get pictures of that lady’s haircut. ^.^; Yeah, I got two images, and I lightened them so they’re easier to see (and it was weird, ’cause I usually darken images :B). Except they’re on Hidek’s computer still, and he’s not on. >_> So I can’t get them. ;_;

more blog news stuff

Yay, I have entry pages for entries 1 through 30. See how productive I was today? Haha.

Now I’m undecided. Do I sign up for an account at some journal site? Or do I not? If I do, then I have yet another journal account. @.@ And it wouldn’t be on my server. If I don’t, then I’m stuck with Greymatter, and I don’t want to keep racking up these entries that I have to carry around with me every time I change servers. But I’m gonna get hosting for fs.net in the next few months, what would I do with that journal account then? But if I don’t get a journal, I wouldn’t update my blog, ’cause I don’t wanna use Greymatter.

And other thoughts that I can’t quite form in my brain and put in order here. Mm. *shrugs*

Well, either way, I’m trying to make a new layout. Except PSP 8 is so slooow. :| I dunno how it compares to PS, memory and space and whatever else wise, but it’s still slower than PS. Although it takes like half a second shorter to load up. XP And just now, when I hit “save” then went to another window, it said PSP did something or other and had to be closed, and bleh. So I dunno if it saved, Ha Ha Ha. Doesn’t matter, I’m not sure I like it all that much after all.

But still. PS never has to be closed. Well, except when I select the window to close it and then close it, but all the display windows are still struggling to show up, then Windows tells me it’s not responding, do I want to end it immediately? I just hit no and it closes on its own time. *shrugs* I think the only good PSP 8 does is give me more filters and stuff to mess with. :P

That reminds me … PS 8 came out recently, didn’t it? Hmmm … *dreams* I think it comes with Adobe Illustrator as well? I don’t really know what I’d do with that, I just want it. :b I dunno, I forget what I read. I forget where I got the link to the page that I read. o_O

No, what I really want at the moment is a computer that could handle PS and PSP 8 and … whatever else. Ooh. I would like a computer that I could play Rollercoaster Tycoon and Starcraft on without the graphics being all fuzzy. Yes, that would be nice. But it cannot be had. Maybe when I go to Cal Poly. No, definitely when I go to Cal Poly. ¬.¬ I’m not gonna take graphics classes with a laptop that has only 256 ram, and absolutely no space for more.

I’m being random. Oh well. To add to the randomness … my immediate wants are Paradise Kiss 5 and The Strokes’s album that isn’t Room on Fire (I keep forgetting the name of it). Yeah. And a nice red shirt. Or tank top. I have one old red shirt that’s faded and that the cats pulled a couple threads out of, so it looks ratty, and I have an almost brand new tank top from Forever 21, the Asian one with all the gold glitter on it, but it has glitter on it, and I don’t like wearing it around just anywhere.

I never mentioned that I found out over winter break that the mall now has a Charlotte Russe store. :D Verah cool. Great fun. Except it’s too expensive. :( Oh well. Need sleep badly now.

here there’s only air

I finished The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress!! XD Cooool ending. Except … *whacks* It’s so unfair!! (I hope no one who’s reading this is planning to read TMIAHM.) SPOILERS: … Mike died! ;-; It’s all so saddening … *sniffs* Oh yeah, Prof died too, but still, he died two times before that, so you get used to the idea. ^^;; But Mike isn’t supposed to die!! Wahhhh!!

… Moving on.

Yesterday I found neilgaiman.net. ^^;;;;; Baaaad. *stares* *stares more* *looks at almost empty wallet* *stares longingly at Death and Dream merchandise* There’s an Endless poster, a poster of Morpheus “capturing the gothic, baroque, moddly lonesome, and grand qualities of the Sandman” (:b~ yeah that is so me), these two statues of Death and Dream that are $195 each, a Death notebook (which I would not write in, so sue me), and a Death wallscroll. *.* Need wallscroll. Neeed. ^^. Coool stuff. *sniffles* I really want.

Also, yesterday, ’cause I was in the looking-for-stuff-I-want-but-can’t-buy mood, I was looking at Amazon.com’s recommendations for me. ^^ I added The Sandman: Endless Nights to my wishlist, and Sandman: King of Dreams, a book about the comic series. ^^;; And no, this is nowhere near obsession. :b

But anyway. Since I was on Amazon I saw that boot on top of the page and remembered my quest for my perfect pair of boots, and went looking through Hot Topic at their boots. ^_^;

Knott’s trip

^^;; Okay, try to make this a quickie.

Yesterday (Monday) went to Knott’s!! :D:D Yaaay! *can’t remember the date of the last visit* Woke up at 9:20. Went to bed around … 4 … maybe. >.>;; Auntie and Uncle got here at 10:20. Forgot the time we got at Knott’s. Rode in Jedi Mako’s van. ^_^

Got there, went on Ghostrider (said it was a 2 hour wait; we waited an hour or so). O_O Daaang. I forgot that it’s “the longest and wildest wooden coaster.” x.x It was fun … but I got a headache. ;.; Don’t think I’d go on again … but I dunno. Maybe I’m forgetting most of why I didn’t like it. ^^;; It was … violent. >b

After that … Big Foot Rapids was closed for the day. Ate lunch (hot dog), walked through Ghost Town shops, the museum, then Mystery Lodge (Auntie wanted to see it), walked up to the bumper cars, the boys went on, the girls and Auntie and Mommy went to Cordy’s corner. Got Snoopy ring (the one that fell off; just realized today it has no “feet,” the white parts of his feet are missing Y-Y), Snoopy figurine, and Snoopy t-shirt. XD

In the Sanrio part of the store (err, store adjacent) where the “stage door” for Snoopy is, we sat at the bench, and Mommy heard this boy ask the cashier what was with the door because it looked like we were all waiting for Snoopy. XP Mommy said we were “Snoopy groupies.” XDD

After that stared up at Perilous Plunge. O_O … Decided to try it out after all. Was nervous all during the wait in line. The pattern went: watch them go down, feel like it isn’t all that bad, feel worse. :b But it reeeally wasn’t that bad! I had my eyes closed when we went down, though. >.> Next time (yes there’s a next time! :D) I’ll keep them open. But I don’t know how much that’ll help, because I couldn’t wear my glasses on the ride. >P I got DRENCHED! Jedi Mako’s and my hair were all drippy for a little while. ^^’ Daddy even wrung his shirt out on the bridge. XD

Mickey got 2.5 laps around the “Knott’s 500.” Went on Sky Cabin (oooh … Mommy: “Isn’t Orange County so boring? No Mar Vista hills …”). Walked past Boomerang, Xcelerator (Noelle and SM00 wanted to go on, and Tadash, but not that time), Supreme Scream (SM00 wants to go on ^^;), La Revolucion (I think maybe next time I’ll try it. seriously), and through Camp Snoopy, past Snoopy’s Gr8 Sk8 (which looked really painful x_x *watches their heads get snapped back and forth*). Rode on Jaguar, which seemed reeally tame after Ghostrider. x.X; ^.^;; But still fuun. :D

Then went to Mrs. Knott’s restaurant. We tried to figure out what the stamp was supposed to say. Mommy said it was supposed to say Knott’s. Everyone kept reading “iso …” I read “Fishead.” XP Upside down I read “choosi.” o.O; *ahem* Waited a loong while for food. Was 6:40 or so at the time. Saw Dick Van Dyke and Elizabeth’s signatures in the guest registry. :) Goood food. All ten of us sat at one table. w00t! ^_^ Had chicken ‘n dumplings with creamy chicken noodle soup and salad with honey mustard dressing. :9 Went back to park. Everyone forgot to read the stamp when they checked us at the re-entrance. ^^;; I read “Knott’s isahoot.” :b

Umm … I forget what we did after that. Went on the train, I guess. Then made fast tracks back to Camp Snoopy to look at the gift shop. There’s a jumbo Snoopy for $75. o.o At Cordy’s Corner I was sure they were marked $29.95 … *shrugs* Oh well. Either way, I’m getting one some time in my lifetime. >D

There were these two mini books, one on friendships and one on love. The friends one had Snoopy hugging Woodstock and saying “Oh friend of friends” (something like that) and the love one had Sally saying “Sweet Babboo” on the cover. ^_^ There was also a regular-sized book, “Peanuts on Love” (I think?) Read that a lot a lot and loved it. ^__^ Left the park, ’cause it was closing. :( Got home.

Oh yeah! George! Haha. While we were on Ghostrider, Hidek and Daddy went walking around Ghost Town and Daddy won one of those monkeys hanging off a plastic bar at a hoops game. It took him three tries. Hehe. Hung it up on the lamp/light chain in Mommy and Daddy’s room. Cattre liked it. Wulfie was interested. Mommy said this morning she came in the room and the light was on, so “There was some monkey business going on, ohoho.” XP

rubies! *grins wide*

Rubies!! :D:D:D *wants a deep-red ruby right now*

“Just as diamonds have become the gem of romance, ruby has been the gem of passion and the heart’s desire since the dawn of time. Because of its lovely red color, ruby has been associated with the heart, the blood and the centers of passion throughout its history.”

“Rubies were considered the wedding stone through the Middle Ages and early Renaissance, as they were supposed to keep passion alive and promote lasting love and contentment in marriage.”

Hehe. ^_^
