Hm, I was just reminded that I saw that Kids Bop commercial for the CD with Bring Me to Life on it. Can you imagine it? Kids crooning about being “numb without a soul.” Hmm … *imagines hoardes of young goth lolis and kodona all over the place*

Ooh, in my Kera magazine (which I bought today XD) there’s some blurb about Evanescence. ^^;; Of course I can’t read it though. And then there’s this page in the back that looks like you can order older issues. And the one with Amy Lee on the cover is shown. But then I think it’s only available by calling in. ;.; (How much would a phone call to Japan to order a magazine cost? ^^;;;)

Oh well. Today I went with Mum to Mitsuwa and that store is closeded. o_o Guess business wasn’t very good … Mum bought plates from … U … something. Utsuwa? Yeah, utsuwa.com. ^_^ They’re black, and about 7 inches in diameter. She was looking at these reeeeally pretty plates with sakura on a stone-y texture, but they cost $5.50 each, so, yeah, forget about that.

Aaand … I got Nana volumes 1-3 and Gokinjo Monogatari volume 1! :D But I don’t know where to get the translations. ^.^;;

So now I have only $15 or so. Mm. I want to buy Haibane Renmei volume 2. But I don’t want to pay more than $25. ^^;; Oh yeah, I still have to see Millenium Actress … gehehe …

Well, I’ve been working on an Amy Lee mood theme for a while … but now I’m kinda bored with it. Ehehe. It’s hard finding piccies for some moods. Like busy. Or thankful. Or envious. @_@ Last night I started working on my new dreamlog, but then I got bored acause I lost this bunch of papers where I wrote down some dreams from a week ago. ^^;;; So now I feel like, “I don’t wanna do this!” Bleh.

-.-;; Mum just told me to get off a couple minutes ago and go to bed, so I closed everything. Then she realized my brother wasn’t asleep, so she shouldn’t make me go to sleep either. o.O Oh well. I’m gonna get off after this anyway. Chippies and sodie and Martinelli’s sparkling cider in the living room. :9 And I have Good Omens to read. I also have The Sandman book 10 to read … but *sniffs* I DON’T WANNA READ IT!!! NOOOO! It can’t be over!! ;.; Well, I think I’m gonna read it anyway. ^^;;

And, woah, I just remembered this dream … except … this is really weird … I can’t remember if it was my dream, or a dream in a novel, or someone’s dream online, or … just one of those weird deja vu things … it’s kinda really confusing me. o_o And now I’ve forgotten most of it. ^^;;; Oh well.

Oh yeah … I finished Endless Nights last night. Nooo! That just leaves two books left to read that have to do with The Sandman … unless I magically come up with a couple twenties, then I can buy The Sandman Companion. ^^;

Aaanyway … new layout. Yeah. The girl is a model in this Banana Republic ad. ^_^; I just really liked that photo … And, I’m kinda wondering, what’s with this pink scrollbar out in the middle of all this grey-blue? It’s kind of … an eyesore … no?

Oh yeah! Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon/evening working on MFF. ^_^;; I think a good chunk of my time “updating” that site is spent sorting out all my floppy disks … so I think I’m gonna put all my stuff on the old compi. That’ll take a while. And … since that compi takes so long to start (about a couple minutes, I think?), I may be updating even less … but then again, I wouldn’t have to mess with the disks. So … yeah.

I haven’t updated here for over a week. How weird. When was the last time I did that? I was trying not to do that anymore. But, here’s the really weird part, I haven’t really said anything in my lj either. And I haven’t written in my diary, log, or noteook. So … weird. I don’t really feel like I haven’t been writing entries lately. Oh well.

Um … what else to say …

Okay! Today! Today Mum woke me up at 6:00 and I actually got up and got ready and everything. Everyone was ready and rolling at 6:40. ^^;; We were supposed to leave at 6:30. But oh well. We were ten minutes early anyway. N had to take a test at UTI. After that we went to IHOP and I had crépe-style pancakes. Yum.

Then we went to the Ontario Mills Mall. There’s a Vans skatepark there. o_o Sooo cool. Umm … went in quite a few stores. At the Virgin Megastore I got The Sandman book 10 (for $12 o.o!), Foo Fighter’s Single Have It All (Darling Nikki! XD), and Millenium Actress. I’m wondering, if I brought it tomorrow, would we watch it? I don’t know. I also got two blouses (pink! :b) at Forever 21 that Mum paid for. Oh yeah. I finished Shadow Puppets on the way there. It’s good, kinda. Not great. Now I get to read through the whole series again. >b

After we got home Mum agreed to take me to Circuit City to look at stuff. I bought earphones ’cause N said they were good, and some part of the plastic on my current ones are coming off. No one sells Aiwa anymore. T-T I think that sucks. Oh well. Mum said I could buy from Aiwa.com. It’s gonna be over $160. For a portable CD player (with AM/FM tuner :b) and stereo. Yeah. And after today I owe M and D $80. x_x I don’t want to use the money in my bank account anymore. So I’m not spending for a loooong time now. :(

On Friday Mommy and I went to the mall for lunch and some spending of my nonexistant money. ^^;; Well, I haven’t bought anything to read in a longo while, and I wanted Sandman: A Game of You (which I’ve started today ^.^), and to get a present for Tadash. I ended up spending about $70. >.>

At Suncoast I looked through Animerica and decided to buy it (despite it not being the one with the EGL article in it -.- *whacks self for missing it*). Saw Witch Hunter Robin box set. Went OooOooh! over it. :b There were also A Charlie Brown Christmas figures. o.o So cool. ^-^ They had Linus, Pigpen, Lucy, Charlie Brown, Schroeder, another person (I forget who), and … SNOOPY! XP The Snoopy one was $20 and the others were less than half. ‘Cause Snoopy comes with his doghouse. Hehe. Then farther back they had more Snoopy stuff. ^^;; Shirts, games (Monopoly, which I already have :b and chess), and a stuffed Snoopy beanie! Which I bought. ^.^;; He’s bigger than my Knott’s Snoopy beanie, but not as cuuute. ^^ Still cute though.

Then at Waldenbooks I got Sandman: Game of You, Inu Yasha manga (for Tadash, and no I have not read it), Angel Nest (by Erica Sakurazawa ^_~), and Confidential Confessions 2. At the register the guy said they were having a buy 4 get the 5th free day, so he told me to go get another book. I snatched the sixth Sandman book. ^.^;

I figured I should say something, since my last entry was made on Sunday … well, technically late Saturday night. Laaate Saturday night. :x

So Sunday came here (still at Noelle’s house, ’cause they’re going … somewhere, I forget where, tomorrow, and Auntie said she’d drop me off so Mommy doesn’t have to drive up here ^^;). Auntie said she wasn’t really planning to do anything, maybe work in the garden, but since it was so warm she wasn’t sure. Then I asked if we could go to the outlet mall to look for boots. So I made everyone (Mommy, Auntie, Noelle, SM00) go to the outlet mall. XD I didn’t find boots there. ;.; I liked this one pair at Easy Spirit (over $100 x.x), except size 6m was too tight and 6.5m was too long. (Dang people who don’t make 6w boots. ¬.¬) But everyone bought something, so it wasn’t a total waste. Auntie bought a shirt for W88 for his birthday, SM00 bought a pink stud bracelet, Noelle bought a hat, I bought a pair of pants, and Mommy bought a candle holder from Mikasa. No one spent over $20. XD

Monday we got our geology midterms back and I found I got an A. XD w00t! There were 120 questions and I missed 15. Practically all of them were the rock/fossil/mineral identification. -.-;; Then on Tuesday we got back the quiz in art history and I got an A on that too. :D (But I still have to work on that “extra credit” project to get an A. x_x Must remember to complete that …) Wednesday was a nice short day, second midterm in GEAH. Today got the midterms back in GEAH. Got an A. Woohoo! Barely. One more wrong answer and I would have gotten a B. ;_;

Oh yeah. Also on Tuesday I went in to see my counselor about changing my major from graphic design to graphic communications. I guess I’m planning to go to Cal Poly. ^.^;; *still not sure about living with Auntie J and Uncle G* The two main things I learned: Cal Poly is the best graphics school in Cal State. Yup yup. ^_^ So it’s an impacted school. Meaning more people apply than get in. *falls over* To have an edge over other applicants, I need to take all these “support classes.” I can’t believe I’m gonna try to cram Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Pre-Calc, Statistics, two Chem classes (AHHHH!!!!! *cries*), English 1B, Speech, American History, and other not so serious classes into the next three semesters. Can I just die now? *dies*

The second-best graphics university is Long Beach. Noooo, not Long Beach! o_o Nothing against that area, just don’t know anyone living there (other than my cousin and her husband :b), and it’s a semi-hellish two hour drive to LA. My counselor said I should apply to another school, just in case. o_< Maybe I’ll make my major fashion/costume design and go to CSUCI. But that would take longer … *shrugs*

Ooh, ooh. Geology on Wednesday was just review of the lab so I started drawing an egl girl. ^_^;;; She no look cute. ;_; *needs to work on drawing more* Then I played Animal Crossing for a couple hours, and before I finished I made my person an egl-esque pattern for her clothes. XD Very simplified, but still very cute and kinda gothic. ^_^ Also sometime during the week I saved three scans from Gothic & Lolita Bible vol. 9 and 10 to make layouts with. Then I made an LJ icon using a punkish model from GLB. ^.^

I’m also thinking about bidding on this. [Removed link to ebay.] I know it’s not very egl, but like I said before, I don’t wanna wear egl. I just like staring at it. :b I was trying to talk to Mommy on aim last night about it (she used one of Hidek’s old names), but she stopped talking to me after I said I don’t know why I want it, then she signed off. ;.; My mommy signed off on meeee!!! Wahhh!!!! Well, there might have been another power outage at home, I dunno. ^^;; ‘Cause Hidek signed off about 5 minutes later and never came on again. *shrugs* Oh well. Who knows. Maybe God is saying I shouldn’t get into ega and shtuff. Maybe he’s saying I shouldn’t get into buying clothes at all. Another hint: I don’t like bidding on things that other people have bidded on. ^_^;;; I kinda feel like I’m snatching an item out of their hand on a Saturday sale discount, or something … like in Lizzie McGuire. Ehehe. I dunno.

But I feel like sewing my own clothes again. I forget when I first wanted to do that … but the second (or third) time was when I saw all the clothes Bachan owned that she sewed herself. Mommy has one of those dresses. ^^ She has to lose weight to wear it *koffkoff* but she has it nonetheless. The only problem (or the biggest problem, anyway) is fabric. I don’t know fabric! Bachan was my last link! Well, maybe Auntie G could tell me … Plus, it’s very expensive. x_X And patterns … and sewing … the sewing machine scares me … kinda … sorta … besides, Mommy’s is buried under all her ju- all her stuff in her study. And I’m not so sure that I’m that into sewing … and I don’t have time for sewing now anyway. *thinks of those classes and dies* I dunno …

Anyway. Right now I’m going through all my old GM entries and seeing which ones I copied from/into Diaryland, and deleting those. I’ve gone through fifteen, and I have three not deleted. ^_^;;; It’ll get easier after a while, though … *checks* maybe 100 entries in. x.x After that, I have to find that topic where they say how to renumber everything and reupload and junk and not break GM … then I have to renumber everything and reupload and junk. o_O Doesn’t it sound like so much fun? I don’t know why I’m doing it … oh yeah, don’t like rebuilding so many files …

But anyway … I don’t really know what to talk about anymore. ^_^;; I suppose this is a loggy kind of journal. You know, like “Wednesday [date]: Went to school. Ate lunch. Came home. Thursday [date]: Went to school. Ate Lunch. Came home. Friday [date]: Went to school. Saw dead cat. Poked at it with a stick. Ate lunch. Came home.” :b Got that from Leave It to Beaver. XD So … Wednesday, went to class. Took notes. Came home (2). Thursday, went to class. Realized how much I screwed up on my class schedule cover. :x Took notes. Came home (2). Friday, went to class. Watched a documentary on Geronimo. Came home (2). Packed up. Drove home. Ooh, ooh. It took us a mucho long time to get home, for some reason. I forget why. No accidents. It was just slow after the Sepulveda Pass. x.x Or actually, slooow after the Sepulveda Pass. Yeah.

Then I spent practically two hours trying to burn this CD (I hope that’s the right link), with absolutely no success. x.< I ruined two CD-Rs trying to get it working. -_- First time (a few weeks ago), a song wouldn’t burn, and I had to quit ’cause I ran out of time, so yesterday I tried to continue, but it didn’t work. Maybe because the power went out upstairs for a second so things turned off. Including the CD burner. ¬_¬ Then I grabbed another CD to try that, and the whole thing completed, but for some reason it just won’t read as music … so I thought of using Daddy’s CD burner, ’cause Hidek told me it’s working now, but then I found out there are absolutely no network connections in this house. O_O! So I gave up on the CD.

When Daddy came home, though, he brought a 64 mb memory stick from work that they got free with a notebook from Dell. XD That thing is so cool. I want one. ;.; Except that USB ports are behind the computers, so I’m crawling under and around things … blegh. The Macs on campus have USB ports on the keyboards. ^^; That’s handy. Anyway. I gots mah CD now. :D After almost 2 months … ^_^; after listening to the songs so much on Winamp that I got tired of them … ^_^;; oh well.

Today was a boring, yet productive, yet relaxing day. No studying or driving or reading or note-taking or test-taking or … thinking. XP (Actually, I did drive today, but more later). All I really did was chores (laundry and dishes, both manual dishwashing and loading the dishwasher), switch my Lisa Loeb fanlisting over to PHPFanBase, and read Sorceress. Much fun was had. After dinner Mommy, Hidek, and I went to Santa Monica Place. o_O

I’ve never really entered the freeway with the meter on before. ^_^;; I just always hit the gas all the way up. Then there were so many cars … but I didn’t have to move over three lanes to get on the 101. Just one lane to get to the 10. That was grand. But then the two lanes to the interchange were all slow. Yuck. But after the two lanes split up (north and south) it cleared up. Woohoo. I think it’s fairly simple remembering how to get to Santa Monica Place. ^^ For some reason I can’t remember how to get to Westside Pavilion. Well, there are two ways to get there, that may be one reason why.

Anyway. Yeah. Santa Monica Place has changed. o_o As Mommy said, “It’s more consumerism. Less touristy.” The Warner Bros. store closed. Wow. There’s a Forever 21 in its place. ^.^ I can’t say I’m disappointed.

So anyway. First went to Hot Topic to see boots. I no like Hot Topic. It’s all small and squishy and dark and loud. I couldn’t get out of this one girl’s way in the aisle. x_x But anyway. Boots were too high for me. ^^;;; And they only had red. Wahh. Didn’t hang around to look at anything else. Passed by Robinsons-May and went in to look at their boots. Niice boots. But too expensive. Even on sale for like $70. :( And the heel’s too high. I don’t want to put stress on my back. Mommy said 2 inch heels at the most, but ideally 1.5 inches.

Met back up with Hidek at Sam Goody and went to Pac Sun. Woo. I still say I like the Westside Pavilion one best. Even though I don’t really like Pac Sun. Hidek got two pairs of shorts. Then … Anchor Blue: nothing. Oh yeah. Got two hair clips (buy one get one half off) at Claire’s. Or. A store with a different name, a bit classier, less funky stuff, but run by Claire’s. Yeah. Forever 21: pair of pants and three shirts. Yay! ^-^ I was so tired standing in line with Mommy. ^^;; Kept staring off into space. I think I stared at the guy cashier too long. >_>;;; *coughs*

Then I saw the Kimono-ya was across the way, so I walked in while Mommy kept a lookout for Hidek. Woooo, so prettyful! They didn’t have a wedding kimono all special on display. And I didn’t wanna be tacky and look at the tags on the racks. ^^;;; But there wasn’t anything jaw dropping in there. Pooh. Just all around nice stuff. They had a rack of haori (I think they were haori) on sale, “$15 and up.” I saw a nice one I’d want. ^^;; But I have one. And I don’t wear it. They also had this book, encyclopedia of Japanese family crests, and … it made no sense to me. I couldn’t find the crest for my family. There were soooooo many shown in that book. o_o Amazing.

So, in conclusion, my hunt for boots continues. Oh. I found out on the EGL community that Hot Topic gets clothes specially made for them a bit cheaper from other clothing lines. Yeah. It was in the post about Hot Topic selling “Lola Goth” t-shirts. O_o Would those shirts even be understood, I wonder? Anyway. So I went looking for websites of the clothes I liked (Lip Service and Morbid Threads) and found Lip Service has an online store but Morbid Threads doesn’t. *sigh* Ah well. Look. [Removed link.] ^^ Kinda like the other shirt. Kinda. Don’t know what it’s made with, though. :/ For $90 it better be good!

Hm. The realization I had tonight: if I want my own style, the one that I want, and not the one that I can find off the rack in stores, I really really really need more confidence. Boo. It all comes back to that again.
